We are working with a well‑established engineering business who are looking for a Graduate / Junior Project Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Mechanical or Civil Engineering graduate looking to build a long‑term career within project engineering. Working alongside an experienced team, you will receive full training and support whilst managing projects from order through to commissioning. You will be involved in project coordination, customer liaison, technical support and CAD drawings, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who is keen to develop both their technical and project management skills.
Responsibilities of the Graduate / Junior Project Engineer:
- Supporting the delivery of projects from order through to commissioning
- Reviewing project information to ensure products meet customer specifications
- Liaising with customers and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Assisting with project planning and delivery schedules
- Producing CAD working and manufacturing drawings
- Providing technical support to customers and colleagues
- Supporting manufacturing and installation teams
- Resolving technical queries and maintaining project documentation
Requirements of the Graduate / Junior Project Engineer:
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering (essential)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Good attention to detail
- Experience using AutoCAD or Autodesk packages would be advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
