Permanent, Full time Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm, Northwest Leicestershire, £30,000 - £32,000 depending on experience.

JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor. This is a great opportunity for an experienced warehouse supervisor who is looking for an exciting move to join an expanding, privately owned company whose heart lies in always delivering the best service level and stock to their clients. You will be overseeing the stock management and leading/motivating a team. Our client is looking for a solution-focused warehouse professional who can streamline stock and warehouse operational activities to maximise time and money.

Role profile:

  • Manage all stock movements
  • Carry out regular stock takes
  • Oversee stock control
  • Resolve stock damages and discrepancies
  • Look at warehouse layouts to always maximise space
  • Supervise and motivate the team
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing goods effectively and efficiently
  • Identify new ways of working to improve the performance of the operation
  • Maintain all compliance and documentation on stock
  • Picking and packing stock
  • Uphold all health & safety regulations
  • Organising FLT fleet and servicing
  • Work closely with all internal departments to deliver a seamless operation

Person profile:

  • Must be an experienced supervisor and motivator with 2 years min experience
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Confident working with data
  • Health and safety awareness and knowledge
  • Physically fit to perform warehouse tasks
  • FLT licence
  • A solution-focused individual who can solve problems and come up with answers
  • Motivated, proactive and proven ability to prioritise
  • Excellent time management and able to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external teams, including senior staff and clients
