Salary: £25,000 per annum

Hours: Full Time Monday to Saturday 36.25 hours with Saturdays 9-12 typically working for 2 out of 4 depending on business needs

JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for a Customer Service Assistant. The ideal candidate will have been used to working in a customer-facing role. This is not a hybrid role, and you will be required to work in the Loughborough Branch daily to meet and greet customers in the hall and on the counter. You will be required to have skilful conversations about savings, make referrals for financial advice, open new savings accounts and manage savings administration. As well as effectively handle customer money to provide withdrawals and take deposits in cash, cheque, and electronic payment.

This role is offered on a full-time basis. Our client is looking for an individual with high motivation and communication skills. You must be passionate about providing excellent customer face-to-face service and be prepared to work closely with others to support the organisation’s aims to continuously improve efficiencies and processes.

Role Profile:

  • Provide a professional, effective point of contact for internal and external customers.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to customer enquiries and requests.
  • To proactively seek, refer and secure sales opportunities.
  • Carry out customer requests and transactions.
  • To use initiative and take personal responsibility for the achievement of objectives.
  • To build effective relationships and work as a team with others.
  • Ensure customer accounts are accurately amended and maintained.
  • To work flexibly as part of a team and undertake any other duties and provide administrative support to other areas of the business when required.

Person profile:

  • Confident and effective communication skills, written and verbal is essential.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisation skills and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Word.

  • Previous Financial Service experience.
