We are looking for someone with previous experience in a lead purchasing or procurement role. Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or distribution environment.
Role profile:
- Drive the transition of a centralised purchasing of operational goods and services across the business
- Proactively manage a diverse supplier base, negotiating high-level contracts, SLAs, and pricing structures to ensure maximum value
- Take full ownership of contracts within IT and Telecoms, Utilities and other support services
- Deliver budget impact by tracking spend analytics, forecasting trends and challenging costs
- Develop and implement procurement workflows that increase efficiency and transparency across the business
Person profile:
- Proven experience in lead purchasing or procurement role, ideally within Manufacturing, Engineering
- Knowledge of service-based contracts
- A natural negotiator
- Proven ability to work in a stand-alone capacity, managing the full procurement lifecycle
