Supporting a young adult with all aspects of personal care and daily living. Accessing the community and clubs that are of interest. Enjoying music, cooking, and going for walks. Supporting attendance at university, where studying philosophy. Assisting with breaks in the UK.
Main duties:
- Social duties: support to attend university, socialise with family and friends, attend weekend clubs, attend medical appointments, support with a rehabilitation programme, access the community and trips of individual interests like swimming, shopping, and restaurants.
- Personal care: assisting with personal care needs and promoting independence, performing exercises/physiotherapy.
- Domestic duties: supporting the cooking and serving of nutritious meals and snacks, cleaning, changing linen, and laundry, food shopping, and meal planning. These duties will vary each shift.
