Business opportunity for an entrepreneurial real estate investment manager

seeking capital to establish an investment platform / fund.

JR Capital is a London-based real estate investment manager, managing both private and institutional capital on behalf of our global clients and partners. We have a 20-year track record of investing across all major real estate asset classes via regulated funds, direct deals and our advisory platforms.

We are seeking an experienced, well-qualified sector specialist to join the company at Investment Director/Partner level. You will have a deliverable and viable investment strategy that we can raise capital for via our established investor base.

This opportunity will appeal to individuals with an appetite to establish an Investment/Fund management platform within our existing group and with the benefit of full support to include a team of analysts, asset managers and property managers in addition to an established network of professional advisors and industry contacts.

We have a focus on portfolio aggregation and value add strategies. Sectors of interest include retail, office, healthcare, living amongst others. We are not restricted on sector or geography within the UK.

The strategy should be suitable for capital commitments of up to £75m targeting leveraged returns of +12% IRR.

As well as originating the investment strategy and presenting supporting financial analysis, suitable candidates must be capable of managing and executing the business plan. Candidates must be able to:

·        Identify and assess investment opportunities. 

·        Conduct financial analysis of potential investments. 

·        Provide support for marketing and capital raising initiatives.

·        Negotiate and execute property acquisitions and disposals. 

·        Oversee all asset and property management activities. 

·        Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. 

·        Board level and Investor reporting including overseas travel. 

We will offer a base salary and employment benefits whilst the incentive package will be weighed towards a profit share via part ownership of the platform/fund.
