JPS are a leading independent welfare cabin and powered access hire company. As our fleet of towable welfare units continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Welfare Cabin Engineer to service, maintain and repair our welfare units and keep them ready for hire.
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welfare Cabin Engineer to service, maintain and repair our welfare units and keep them ready for hire.
Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair towable welfare units across the fleet
- Diagnose and repair generators, solar/hybrid power systems, heating, lighting and plumbing
- Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) and prepare units for hire
- Fault-find and repair 12V, 24V and 240V electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Complete accurate service records and report parts requirements
- Ensure all units meet health, safety and quality standards
Required Skills
- Experience servicing welfare units, plant, generators or similar mobile equipment
- Sound electrical and mechanical knowledge (recognised electrical qualification an advantage)
- Full UK driving licence – towing (B+E) entitlement preferred
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, self-motivated and safety-focused
