JPS Utilities (Scot) Ltd is a multi utility company based in Craigie, Kilmarnock. We are currently seeking two full-time reliable hardworking General Labourers to support our team with daily operations on site. The successful candidates will assist with various onsite tasks working closely with Supervisors and crew members whilst helping maintain a safe and organised working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow safety guidelines and Company procedures.
  • Assist Supervisors & crew members on site as directed.
  • Loading, unloading materials & tools.
  • Operating basic hand & power tool safely.
  • Maintaining clean organised & safe working area.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in construction, utilities, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in handling construction materials and tools, and the ability to complete general labour tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and the ability to adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Capability to operate basic construction equipment, with a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Good physical fitness & stamina.
  • Ability to work outdoors & in varying weather conditions.
  • Willingness to follow instruction & work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel & work away from home during the week if required.
  • Willingness to work weekends where required.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability & punctuality.

Successful candidates will be subject to mandatory Drug & Alcohol screening due to site regulations. CSCS certification - essential. Full UK driving license - essential.
