Are you ready to shape the future of private banking for US clients at the world’s premier global financial institution? We’re seeking a strategic and innovative Senior Product Designer to help drive the evolution of our US prospect onboarding and client-facing authenticated digital experience. In this impactful role, you will be at the forefront of redefining how our clients learn about and interact with the Private Bank, delivering seamless, user-centric digital experiences that set new standards for the industry.

This is a player/coach role: you’ll remain hands‑on in UX/UI delivery while also coaching and elevating other designers through direction‑setting, critique, and standards of craft. As a VP‑level designer, you’ll combine strong hands‑on craft with the ability to influence product direction, align senior stakeholders, and raise design quality across teams. Your expertise will be instrumental in translating complex financial journeys into intuitive, elegant solutions that strengthen client‑advisor relationships and deliver measurable impact.

You will also lead and contribute to visioning work (north star concepts, future‑state journeys, and experience strategy) to help shape the product pipeline—connecting long‑term experience outcomes to near‑term roadmaps. If you are passionate about experience design, eager to deliver transformative solutions, and ready to make a lasting impact on the future of private banking, we invite you to join our global design team to help define the next era of digital client experiences.

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute UX/UI design work for the authenticated digital experience for US private banking clients, translating complex financial challenges into simple, elegant, and user‑centered solutions.
  • Deliver high‑quality design assets, prototypes, and specifications, ensuring a high standard of craft and attention to detail across projects.
  • Player/coach leadership: Provide day‑to‑day design leadership through mentoring, pairing, critique, and raising the bar on craft; model best practices in interaction design, visual design, and storytelling.
  • Design using both existing design systems and contribute to the development of new and emerging design systems to ensure consistency, scalability, and innovation across digital products.
  • Collaborate with multiple product managers and cross‑functional teams to implement design solutions that align with business goals and deliver cohesive, high‑impact experiences.
  • Lead and contribute to experience visioning to establish north star and to share to senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Present and articulate design decisions to senior stakeholders and leadership.
  • Advocate for user‑centered design, accessibility, and inclusive practices, ensuring every product delivers exceptional value.
  • Apply the latest AI, emerging technologies, and industry trends to keep our products at the cutting edge of digital finance.

Required Qualifications

  • Portfolio link required in resume (please include passwords if protected).
  • Bachelor’s degree in design or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in experience or product design, with a proven track record of executing and delivering user‑friendly solutions and scaling digital products.
  • Experience designing for a consumer or financial services setting or another regulated, data‑dense industry.
  • Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver high‑quality UI through hands‑on design and creative execution.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration, with experience partnering with multiple product managers and teams and engaging with product leadership at the highest level.
  • Expertise in Figma and hands‑on usability testing.
  • Experience in leveraging AI tooling to drive craft, rapid prototyping and partnering with product and technology partners.
