As a Transaction Processing Analyst, you will act as a key point of contact for downstream groups and provide first‑line controls and support for a variety of trading desks. You will work with both vanilla and complex derivative products, ensuring accurate transaction capture, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Our Middle Office supports traders with a high demanding volume of trades, and our team must ensure that our controls and monitoring are completed accurately and efficiently. This is a fast‑paced environment requiring strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately capture business transactions in the Risk Management System.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Liaise with Marketing Support, Settlements, Collateral, Finance, and other Back Office control groups.
- Monitor trade lifecycle event processing and identify manual touch‑points.
- Assist in preparing and updating weekly metrics and periodic reporting for management.
- Support the analysis and identification of inconsistencies in control processes and business functions.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and support project delivery.
- Escalate issues and ensure timely resolution in line with business standards.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Highly numerate with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic understanding of derivative products (vanilla and complex).
- Awareness of risk types: market, operational, settlement, credit, legal, and reputational.
- Proficiency in Excel and general computer literacy.
