Job Description Join our Global Credit Automated Trading Strategies desk in London as an Electronic Risk Manager.
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about finance and eager to set and achieve challenging goals within a trading floor environment.
As an Associate in the front office team, you will be instrumental in managing electronic Credit Trading Algorithms, servicing institutional and corporate accounts.
This role demands proactive involvement in managing risk, liquidity, and exposure while driving all aspects of the trading desk operations including pre-trade analysis, trade execution, and designing optimal risk management strategies for large trades.
Job Responsibilities Oversee price delivery, risk management, and data analytics for our Electronic Global Credit franchise.
Respond to day-to-day client requests and needs, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
Maintain a deep understanding of market drivers, evaluate market developments, and provide innovative solutions to clients.
Perform detailed data analysis related to the business and its revenue drivers.
Understand and implement the firm's policies for managing various types of risks associated with credit trading.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance/Economics, Mathematics, or a related field Some experience in Global Credit Trading or a closely related field Strong grasp of fundamental and technical aspects of traded products and the ability to anticipate market movements Proficient understanding of the transaction cycle and execution strategies Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and senior management.
Must be adept at communicating complex concepts and ideas at all levels within the organization Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Must be capable of maintaining composure and focus under challenging conditions Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in Python or other programming languages is highly desirable Strong ability to perform data analysis and present findings clearly Self-directed and highly motivated, capable of working independently Experience managing client relationships directly is a plus This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity.
