As a Product Management Director in Infrastructure Platforms, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. You leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs. The Cloud Foundations Product Team manages a suite of varied products to enable internal teams to take advantage of public cloud within JPMC. You will maximize awareness, adoption, and impact of these products for our developer community.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets.
- Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth.
- Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery.
- Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives.
- Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Proven expertise of delivering products, projects, or technology applications.
- Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics.
- Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
- Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Champion a culture of customer-centricity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within IP product teams.
- Excellent understanding of modern product management practices, such as discovery, design thinking, prototyping, journey mapping, competitive analysis, addressable market segmentation, prioritization, and roadmap development.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop others, both individually and at scale.
- Experience of influencing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders without direct authority.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to make complex concepts clear and actionable.
- Proven analytical and systems thinking skills - able to connect day-to-day practices to organizational strategy and outcomes.
- Excellent understanding of developer workflows, tools, and ecosystems.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Experience working with internal developer platforms or enablement tools.
- Recognised thought leader within a related field.
- Experience of working in technical product management or within infrastructure product domains.
- Background in software engineering or technical consulting.
- Experience in large enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI technologies is highly desirable.
