As a Vice President in the Securities Services Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO), you will lead the development and execution of our AI/ML strategy and governance. Collaborating across business areas, operations, quantitative research, data science, and technology teams, you will define and deliver a scalable data and AI platform. Your role is crucial in shaping the strategic data and AI/ML agenda globally, driving innovation, and advancing our digital agenda through data, analytics, and AI/ML.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive the development and delivery of our strategic AI/ML platform.
- Collaborate with senior business and functional leaders to identify, define, and prioritize critical data and AI/ML needs, ensuring effective governance and integration.
- Design and deliver products by integrating data into analytics platforms for projects such as machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- Oversee the end-to-end AI model lifecycle, from ideation and development to deployment and optimization.
- Provide thought leadership, monitor industry trends, and emerging technologies to identify AI/ML opportunities to transform business processes and scale Custody, Fund Accounting, and Trading Services product.
- Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with stakeholders to enhance data understanding and quality.
- Lead the creation and implementation of processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks, including protection, retention, and quality.
- Deliver data and AI/ML strategy initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, and collaborate with senior leadership to prioritize and execute critical projects.
- Drive data and AI/ML governance and risk management efforts, providing subject matter expertise and driving collaboration across functions.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Relevant experience with a proven track record in developing and delivering enterprise-scale data and AI/ML strategy.
- Extensive product management experience. Experience in data, analytics, and AI/ML is a plus.
- Financial services industry domain expertise at large global organizations.
- Ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams with strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
- Understanding of data management principles, governance frameworks, and lifecycle management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, translating complex data concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, effectively conveying complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of regulatory and control landscape and its impact on strategy and delivery.
- Experience and track record in delivering products from ideation to production.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Deep experience in productionalizing AI solutions for business adoption.
- Experience with AI technologies.
- Demonstrable track record in delivering scalable AI solutions.
- Background in program management for quant projects is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of data governance and controls.
- Experience with or knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with advanced analytics, machine learning, or artificial intelligence applications in a business context.
- Experience in agile methodologies is a plus.
