Role Summary

As a Client Account Manager (CAM) for EMEA Alternatives, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client experience to institutional clients investing in Alternative strategies at J.

Morgan Asset Management.

You will partner with Institutional Sales, Investment Specialists, Product partners and other internal stakeholders to form a dedicated service team for each assigned client.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Head of Institutional Client Account Management for Alternatives on strategic projects and to collaborate across various levels of the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate onboarding and ongoing servicing for EMEA institutional clients and third parties, fielding inquiries, researching requests, and ensuring timely, accurate responses.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each client’s relationship with J. P. Morgan, including global relationships and connections with other asset managers and consultants.
  • Proactively identify and drive improvements to the client experience and operational efficiencies, implementing changes as needed.
  • Participate in client meetings and events, including due diligence sessions, to support relationship management and service delivery.
  • Plan and organize internal business meetings, manage follow-up and action items, and ensure effective communication across teams.
  • Support the creation and management of team policies, procedures, templates, and outline data requirements for MIS/KPI reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal partners, and third-party service providers.
  • Support the launch of new products and distribution strategies, working with legal, compliance, finance, and product teams to ensure regulatory adherence and operational readiness.
  • Act as a key contact for all service-related client matters, partnering with sales teams and global client service colleagues in EMEA, US, and APAC.
  • Assist in ad hoc projects and research to support business initiatives and strategic goals.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Significant experience (typically 8-10+ years) in asset management or wealth management, with a background in client service and/or institutional client base, ideally with exposure to alternative investment products.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial concepts; ability to communicate confidently and intelligently with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong client and internal relationships and a deep understanding of client servicing needs.
  • Experience coordinating onboarding, managing operational processes, and supporting digital distribution or technology platforms.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Highly attentive to detail, with excellent follow-through, flexibility, and outstanding written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required – preference given to business-focused disciplines
  • Investment Management Certificate
  • Demonstrate background in client service or in a Client facing role especially in areas related to Alternative investments.
  • Demonstrate fluency in English
