In this role, you will turn balance sheet insights into clear, practical pricing outcomes across entities and currencies. You will partner closely with stakeholders across businesses and corporate functions to strengthen end-to-end processes and supporting infrastructure.
As a TCIO Associate in the International FTP team, you will be part of a London-based team responsible for setting pricing methodology for funding used and generated by Lines of Business, including Base FTP and Liquidity Premium (LP). You will help establish and maintain FTP methodologies across international legal entities and currencies, partnering with Lines of Business and TCIO colleagues across APAC, EMEA, and Latin America (LATAM), and supporting analysis of balance sheet positions across 30+ legal entities and currencies. You will also collaborate with stakeholders in the LOBs, Technology, Middle Office, and Finance to deliver a robust end-to-end FTP process and strengthen the supporting FTP infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the development, calibration, and ongoing refinement of international FTP methodologies across legal entities and currencies, ensuring effective transfer of interest rate risk from LOBs to Treasury.
- Partner with LOB stakeholders to build a detailed understanding of balance sheet composition and currency positioning, and incorporate key dynamics into FTP pricing.
- Act as a responsive point of contact for FTP questions from LOB and TCIO partners, provide clear explanations and timely follow-ups.
- Perform data analysis on balance sheet and FTP outputs; investigate variances, identify key drivers, and translate findings into concise materials for TCIO and LOB senior management discussions.
- Support the buildout and enhancement of FTP infrastructure and processes, including participation in technology-driven improvements, testing/UAT, and implementation activities.
- Contribute to New Product Approvals (NPAs) by providing FTP input and analysis as required.
- Uphold strong governance and controls by maintaining accurate documentation (methodologies, assumptions, procedures), adhering to established processes, and ensuring audit-ready deliverables.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Minimum of 2+ years financial services industry experience with a focus on balance sheet, ALM or liquidity management in treasury.
- Fundamental understanding of financial instruments, balance sheet analysis, and general accounting principles.
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, proficiency in Excel, familiarity with data analytic tools eg. Tableau and Databrick for data analysis and visualization.
- Demonstrated initiative and attention to detail, organized and capable of executing responsibilities with minimal supervision, showing initiative.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to partner effectively across businesses and functional areas.
