As an Analyst or Associate in the Consumer Staples Equity Research Team, you will work with senior colleagues to provide thought-leadership to institutional clients. You'll maintain and update valuation models and databases, prepare materials for research reports, and contribute to writing quarterly results alerts, stock reports, and thematic pieces. You will communicate with institutional investors, company representatives, and internal clients, staying abreast of company and industry developments. Job responsibilities- Work with senior colleagues to provide thought-leadership to institutional clients regarding the sector.
- Maintain and update valuation models and databases.
- Prepare materials for regular publication of research reports, including data analysis and presentation.
- Contribute to writing research reports, including quarterly results alerts, stock reports, and thematic pieces.
- Communicate with institutional investors, company representatives, and internal clients (Sales, Sales-Traders, and Traders).
- Stay abreast of company and industry developments.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage and influence partners and stakeholders.
- Enthusiasm for a team-focused environment where each individual's insight and expertise is valued.
- Analytical approach to building and maintaining financial models.
- Strong numeracy skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Relationship building skills; comfortable connecting with a wide range of individuals and distilling complex issues into specific conclusions.
