Are you ready to help shape the growth of a regional Treasury platform in one of the firm’s strategically important markets? Join the Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB) Treasury team as an Associate and play a key role in supporting the continued expansion of JPMorgan Chase’s Commercial & Investment Bank activities across MENA (Middle East and Africa).

As a Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB) Treasury Associate, you will work closely with Markets, Banking, TCIO, Finance, Risk, Technology, and other internal stakeholders to support business growth and effective financial resource management. You will help assess liquidity, funding, balance sheet, FTP/liquidity premium, and interest rate impacts of business activity and new initiatives, while contributing to enhanced reporting, analytics, and scalable Treasury work practices.

Job responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on regional Treasury and financial resource topics
  • Build and maintain relationships with Markets, Banking, TCIO, Finance, Risk, Technology, and other internal stakeholders
  • Partner with business teams to assess liquidity, funding, balance sheet, FTP/liquidity premium, and interest rate impacts of new initiatives
  • Develop business-based MIS and reporting on liquidity, funding, and financial resource drivers
  • Provide accurate and timely Treasury inputs to support business growth, decision-making, and risk management
  • Support the expansion of CIB Treasury activities in MENA through scalable processes, controls, and work practices
  • Contribute to data, analytics, and automation enhancements that improve transparency and efficiency
  • Communicate complex Treasury concepts clearly to stakeholders across functions and locations
  • Prioritise and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, or another quantitative field
  • Good working knowledge of Markets and Banking products, financial theory, and accounting principles
  • Strong analytical, investigative problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage across functions, locations, and businesses
  • Self-starter with demonstrated initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
