This role offers the opportunity to develop broad commercial expertise while contributing to meaningful business outcomes and customer value.

As a Commercial Analyst in the UK Investments Commercial team, you will support the growth and performance of our investment proposition by delivering commercial insights, performance reporting, and analytical support for strategic initiatives.

You will partner with Product, Marketing, and Finance teams to help identify opportunities, evaluate performance, and provide data-driven recommendations that support decision-making.

  • Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain commercial assumptions, models, and frameworks used to evaluate and track business initiatives.
  • Monitor initiative performance and identify key drivers, risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Analyse outcomes and prepare retrospective reviews, highlighting insights and potential follow-up actions.
  • Support the planning, coordination, and tracking of commercial initiatives across product, marketing, and growth activities.
  • Maintain initiative roadmaps, trackers, and reporting materials to support prioritisation and decision-making.
  • Prepare stakeholder updates, presentations, and business review materials that communicate performance and recommendations clearly.
  • Track delivery milestones and proactively identify dependencies or blockers.
  • Support the development of business cases, including assumptions, financial sizing, and performance measurement.
  • Consolidate information from Product, Marketing, and Finance teams to support planning and portfolio reviews.
  • Contribute to the development of commercial insight frameworks, reporting tools, and knowledge-sharing processes.
  • Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Experience in commercial analysis, finance, strategy, product analytics, business operations, or a related analytical discipline.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the use of pivot tables, lookups, and financial or commercial modelling techniques.
  • Ability to work with assumptions, imperfect information, and competing priorities in a structured manner.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate activity across stakeholders.
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and continuously improve processes and ways of working.
  • Collaborative approach and ability to build effective working relationships across functions.
  • Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Experience within financial services, fintech, technology, or another regulated industry.
  • Knowledge of retail investing, wealth management, brokerage platforms, or managed investment products.
  • Experience supporting commercial planning, business cases, or portfolio management activities.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, business intelligence tools, or other analytical technologies.
  • Experience preparing presentations and reporting materials for senior stakeholders.
  • Additional European language skills.
