As a Product Owner (Vice President), you will lead strategy and execution for an internal cross–line of business Account and SSI (Standard Settlement Instructions) reference data platform, with accountability for outcomes across client onboarding, account maintenance, SSI maintenance, and downstream payment, settlement, and regulatory reporting processing. Sitting between upstream onboarding/KYC processes and a broad set of downstream consumers (e.g., trade allocation platforms, trade and cash settlement engines, payment/trading platforms, and reporting platforms), you will own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for a trusted golden source of client account and SSI reference data.

You will drive how account and SSI data is captured, validated, approved, published, and consumed via APIs and event-driven publishing, translating complex operational, risk, and regulatory requirements into prioritized, development-ready delivery with strong controls, traceability, and auditability. You will balance new feature delivery with remediation, data quality uplift, production stability, and standards-driven change through transparent prioritization and executive-ready reporting. Success will be measured by delivering a strategic, industry-aligned, and scalable solution that reduces data proliferation, improves the operational user experience, and reduces manual touchpoints in a global, matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Own the vision, roadmap, and backlog for the Account & SSI golden source platform, aligned to business value, resilience, and controls; prioritize trade-offs across features, remediation, and regulatory/standards change (SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022, BIC, IBAN, LEI).
  • Delivery & Agile Execution: Lead global end-to-end delivery (sequencing, dependencies, release planning) and convert requirements into development-ready stories with measurable acceptance criteria and clear DoR/DoD; run agile ceremonies with the Scrum Master and maintain documentation, approvals, change control, and traceability for audit/regulatory readiness.
  • Data Management & Controls: Drive data standards, lineage, stewardship, and quality with monitoring for accuracy, timeliness, completeness, and consistency; partner with Compliance/Risk on KYC, AML, and sanctions dependencies with clear policy alignment, evidence, and control design.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Integration: Translate workflows/pain points across Operations, Middle Office, Payments, Treasury, Custody, and Front Office into increments improving STP and operating outcomes; coordinate integrations from onboarding/KYC to downstream consumers (SWIFT, Fedwire, CHAPS, settlement engines, trading platforms, DTCC ALERT, SWIFT Ref) with defined publishing contracts and controlled rollout.
  • Reporting & Migration: Define and track OKRs/KPIs (data quality/timeliness, exceptions/repairs, settlement fails, STP, SLA adherence); provide executive-ready reporting on status/risks/remediation and lead production resilience, incident triage, and migration/cutover planning.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's in a quantitative or related field (Finance, Maths, Stats, CS, Engineering).
  • Certifications such as CSPO, SAFe POPM, PMP, or PRINCE2.
  • Exposure to Markets, Investor Services, custody, clearing and Prime brokerage.
  • Working knowledge of SSI utilities (DTCC ALERT, SWIFT).
Soft Skills
  • Executive stakeholder influence across Technology, Operations, Compliance, and business leaders in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and sound judgement; makes explicit trade-offs framed in risk, operational impact, and value.
  • Strong ownership and follow-through, with attention to detail in requirements, controls evidence, and delivery commitments.
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for execution, balancing long-term platform health with near-term delivery outcomes.
  • Clear, concise communicator to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior forums.
