As a Lead Software Engineer in Post Tech Technology – Margin and Collateral Services, you will play a pivotal role in an agile team dedicated to enhancing and delivering trusted technology products. You will drive critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas, supporting our firm’s business goals. Your expertise will help shape the team’s culture and foster innovation. You will collaborate with diverse professionals and contribute to the stability and scalability of our systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
- Develop secure, high‑quality production code and review and debug code written by others
- Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues
- Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams
- Drive outcomes‑oriented probing of architectural designs and technical credentials
- Lead communities of practice across Software Engineering
- Promote awareness and use of new and leading‑edge technologies
- Contribute to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Hands‑on experience building enterprise, high‑availability software solutions
- Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, React JS, Python, etc.)
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Skilled in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- Practical cloud-native experience
- Proficient in working with SQL and NoSQL databases
