This role, Deal Contingent Specialist within the Global Structuring organization, focuses on fostering the growth of our cross‑asset, global Deal Contingent franchise. You will partner closely with our global sales franchise, collaborating with internal and external subject‑matter experts across banking, legal, risk, and trading to ensure an efficient and proactive approach to deal‑contingent risk throughout the lifecycle— from origination and analysis to execution, product development, and risk management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth in contingent products through detailed analysis of contingent risk.
  • Partner with Sales and Trading to originate opportunities and deliver customized client solutions.
  • Develop and enhance product frameworks, including governance, risk, and pricing for new and existing contingencies.
  • Drive cross‑functional coordination with Banking, Legal, Risk, and Trading to ensure timely approvals and execution.
  • Monitor deal activity and market dynamics for product and risk recommendations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders; communicate clearly with senior management on pipeline, risk, and performance.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable regulations and internal policies and controls.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in M&A, event‑driven products or deal‑contingent risk within a Markets or Investment Banking environment.
  • Proven track record of successful structuring and execution across Deal Contingent strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and deep understanding of financial markets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing client relationships and influencing outcomes across cross‑functional teams.
  • Self‑motivated and capable of working independently.

This role encompasses the performance of regulated activity.
