As a Lead Software Engineer within the CTO team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering secure, stable, and scalable technology products. You will collaborate with agile teams to enhance and build trusted solutions that support our business objectives. Your technical contributions will span multiple areas, allowing you to influence key projects and drive innovation. You’ll help foster a culture of diversity, opportunity, and inclusion while advancing our technology landscape.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
- Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
- Identify opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues and improve operational stability.
- Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical credentials.
- Drive communities of practice across Software Engineering to promote new and leading-edge technologies.
- Contribute to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Golang).
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.
- Skilled in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile).
- Practical cloud native experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Engineering Observability Platform tools (e.g., Grafana, Grafana Enterprise Metrics).
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and IT systems.
