Digital Events Manager – JP Morgan – London – 6 months contract – Hybrid – PAYE

We are seeking a Digital Events Manager to join JP Morgan Asset Management in London on an initial 6 months contract with a view to extend to 12 months to cover a maternity leave. You should have experience of end to end Events Management preferably from an Asset Management background but we\’re also open to other industries. Any experience of virtual event management is highly advantageous.

Description:

  • Based within the EMEA Asset Management events team, as part of a team of professionals developing and executing digital and in-person events, cross-channel and cross-location, within EMEA
  • The role would be a division of both full project management of Pan European virtual events as well as select in-person events and roadshows. This includes agenda and content development plus all elements of scheduling and event logistics
  • The role requires previous experience of digital event platforms and a willingness and interest in future developments in this area

Main responsibilities:

  • Working with key European Marketing Manager stakeholders to determine their event requirements
  • Delivery of virtual events ensuring the right platform is chosen and communicating pros and cons.
  • Assisting senior members of the team with event program management – eg communicating deadlines, helping with compliance submissions and collecting presentations
  • Ensuring all relevant activity is logged and monitored with Compliance and Audit requirements
  • Supporting and developing follow-up process for all events.
  • Assisting with budget management and invoice reconciliation.
  • Account management with our digital platform partners
  • Event reporting, tracking and feedback management

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Relevant Event Management experience within a corporate environment
  • Degree educated
  • Additional European language is desirable
  • Good knowledge of existing virtual events platforms, including PGI, and prior experience working and delivering virtual/digital events including reporting and using data to improve events and assist the sales teams
  • Experience of self-service event management platforms
  • Competent project manager with strong organisational skills with practical experience organising large and small events
  • Experience of navigating complex organisations
  • Comfortable with systems and processes typical of large organisations
  • Ability to mix strategic thinking with practical application
  • Ability to manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders including senior management
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
