Job Description
Step into a pivotal role as an associate in the XVA Product Control team in London, where your expertise will drive financial excellence and strategic innovation. You will manage the responsibilities for CVA (credit valuation adjustment) and FVA (funding valuation adjustment) and work with a wide range of products from CVA/FVA to various hedging instruments, including Credit, Rates, Equity, Commodity and FX. The role requires managing both P&L and risk, interacting with senior stakeholders across the finance organization and fostering strong working relationships with Front Office, Market Risk Coverage and other key business and control functions.
In addition to the above core responsibilities, you will collaborate with the business and its stakeholders to implement robust controls and strategic initiatives, and identify continuous improvement opportunities to adapt processes to changing systems and control requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Report the daily P&L and risk and ensure it is completed in an efficient and controlled manner.
- Provide detailed analysis and commentary on the financials to desk heads, business managers and senior finance management.
- Partner with the business and its stakeholders to implement robust controls and strategic initiatives.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements and ensure processes adapt to meet changing system and control requirements.
Required Qualifications, Skills, And Capabilities
- Strong experience in Product Control or equivalent.
- Experience within Product Control related to CVA/FVA.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, including a strong control focus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships.
- Educated to at least Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) level.
