Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document comprehensive payment solution requirements by engaging with payments product owners, business operations, and technical teams to ensure alignment and feasibility.
- Translate complex product and operations requirements into well-structured technical solutions, leveraging payments business domain and technical knowledge to build strategic payment systems.
- Define system capabilities (the ‘What’) based on scope and elaboration with Product and Operations Partners.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities, providing actionable insights that support decision-making and key business initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain architecture designs, policies, standards, and governance processes that align technology with business strategy.
- Continuously enhance technical knowledge and stay current with industry trends, ensuring the application of best practices and innovative solutions to address evolving business needs.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Experience or equivalent expertise in solutions analysis, technical program delivery, or business analysis in payments technology.
- Demonstrated proficiency in payments technology platforms, including hands-on experience with major clearing market infrastructures.
- Advanced knowledge of ISO 20022 and SWIFT messaging, with experience in developing and interpreting data models.
- Strong technical writing skills, with a proven track record of translating complex information into clear and concise documentation for diverse stakeholder audiences.
- SQL Skills to query and analyze business data related to payments domain.
- Advanced knowledge of payment rails in the United States, and other regions.
- Strong collaboration and relationship management skills to work effectively across a wide range of stakeholders to gain buy-in and drive progress.
- Working knowledge of data dictionaries/controlled vocabularies.
- Ability to drive results in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
- Ability to work independently, and also taking a managerial role for payment solution analysts.
- Excellent analytical & problem solving skills.

- Knowledge about High Value Payments Systems, Low Value Payments Systems, and Real Time Payment rails.
- Skilled in JIRA tooling to create and manage backlog of development stories and analysis tasks.
