As a Principal Technical Program Manager at JPMorgan Chase in GLCM, you will lead and direct complex technology projects and programs with extensive outcomes for clients, employees, and stakeholders across the firm. Leading a team of Project Managers, you will be accountable for delivery execution across multiple workstreams relating to Market Expansion and Branch Modernization, ensuring disciplined planning, robust governance, and predictable delivery against scope, time, cost, and quality.
Your exceptional communication skills and analytical reasoning will foster productive relationships with stakeholders and across the functional teams, removing barriers, managing risk and driving accountability. An ability to navigate through ambiguity and adapt to change will be key as we work with teams to embrace AI across the delivery lifecycle. Execution leadership, deep understanding of enterprise technology delivery, and the ability to translate strategic intent into tangible, measurable results at scale will set you up for success.
Job responsibilities
- Develops and implement strategic technical program plans, aligning with organizational goals and cross-functional collaboration.
- Oversees complex technology project and program execution, managing resources, budgets, and timelines while mitigating risks and addressing roadblocks.
- Fosters credible relationships with stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams, providing direction and defining decision-making procedures for beneficial outcomes.
- Guides the selection and implementation of appropriate technologies, platforms and software tools leveraging advanced technical fluency.
- Champions continuous improvement by identifying process optimization opportunities, incorporating best practices, and staying abreast of emerging technologies.
- Engages, influences, and drives delivery of multiple AI initiatives with cross-functional, cross-product, and cross-line of business stakeholders.
- Synthesizes findings into clear, concise, customer-focused problem statements, recommendations, business cases, analysis, plans of action, and risk assessments.
- Drives organizational structure, efficiency, and improvement of operational practices.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Significant experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization.
- Ability to manage multiple portfolios and competing priorities.
- Demonstrated expertise in analytical reasoning, and applying critical thinking to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities.
- Proven ability in leading through change, managing dependencies, and controlling change in high-pressure, shifting environments.
- Advanced knowledge of project and program management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Expertise in stakeholder management, establishing productive working relationships and propelling mutually beneficial outcomes for firm objectives.
- Evidence of exploration and adoption of AI; an open, flexible and keen approach to integrate AI into the delivery lifecycle.
