Join our globally recognized Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) as a Payments Governance Analyst. As part of the CIB Payments Governance Team, you will partner with Sales, Product, Pricing, and other key stakeholders to support strategic payments deals and strengthen governance processes. This role is central to shaping deal governance and control strategies β€” encompassing business controls management, process automation, data integrity, and the identification and escalation of control gaps to leadership.

As a Payments Governance Analyst within the CIB Payments Governance Team, you will support Payments Sales by enabling deal governance and sales pipeline activities. You will help prepare materials for deal reviews and committees, manage governance controls, and deliver reporting that improves oversight and execution in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing Payments deal governance and sales pipeline activities.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Pricing teams on strategic payments deals.
  • Partner with deal teams to prepare for committee reviews and governance forums.
  • Manage business controls processes that support sales execution.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the regional governance framework.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) guidance on governance processes and expectations.
  • Ensure workflow efficiency and timely completion of required actions.

Required Qualifications, Skills, And Capabilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint/PitchPro, Excel, Word, and Tableau.
  • Comfort with financial calculations and pricing concepts.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills; effective with colleagues at all levels.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
  • Strong technology aptitude and ability to navigate multiple applications.
  • High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in governance processes and reporting.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, And Capabilities

  • Experience in deal governance and/or financial services.
  • Ability to build solutions that automate and enhance tools and processes.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
