As a Collections Analyst in Collections, you will deliver portfolio insights and reporting that help us improve collection strategies, strengthen operational controls, and drive consistent outcomes. You will partner with stakeholders to define needs, translate them into analysis and solutions, and share clear updates that keep work moving forward. You will also support the team by helping with assigned cases and contributing to resolution of more complex cases as needed.
Job responsibilities
- Deliver collection performance insights and data solutions while following compliance and documentation requirements
- Build sustainable reporting solutions, including system enhancements and automations, by partnering with internal and external teams
- Track actions, escalate risks and issues, and help drive work toward defined outcomes
- Define business requirements, perform analysis, and support root cause identification for control and change initiatives
- Gather, document, and analyze processes to help solve business problems and support recommendations with basic visualization
- Coordinate operational, financial, and technical activities to support alignment with legal, risk, and control expectations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver agreed results and maintain productive working relationships
- Evaluate scenarios using analytical thinking to support decision making
- Create and deliver presentations and written updates for varied audiences to confirm understanding and alignment
- Apply analytical techniques to support collections technology and reporting improvements
- Support case work as needed, including assisting with assigned cases and helping resolve more complex cases
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated analytical and time management skills, with ability to translate business needs into operational and application requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interact professionally with managers, peers, and subject matter experts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Advanced skill in Alteryx, including building and maintaining workflows
- Ability to manage day-to-day deliverables, follow through on commitments, and support outcomes tied to business objectives
- Ability to build productive relationships, ask clarifying questions, and escalate appropriately
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, including ability to evaluate information, identify gaps, and support root cause analysis
- Experience collaborating across teams, groups, or functions and providing consistent updates to impacted stakeholders
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience using Tableau for reporting and visualization
- Experience supporting collections reporting, strategy, or operations
- Experience partnering with technology or delivery teams to implement reporting enhancements or automation solutions
- Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes
