Join our team as a Origination Services Credit Proposal Associate and utilise your skills! As a Origination Services Credit Proposal Associate within the Traditional Credit Products Middle Office team, you will be part of a dynamic, deadline-managed environment. You will play a crucial role working closely with the Credit Risk and Front Office teams for loan transactions for our Corporate & Investment Banking, Corporate and Commercial Banking, Markets, and Trade Finance Lines of Business.
Job responsibilities:
- Coordinates new business requests, resolving banker and Credit queries and completing initial sets up in credit systems.
- Acts as Subject Matter Expert on Legal Entity related queries and regulatory issues for EMEA Passported Entities, including advising global Business & Credit and internal teams on requirements for Legal Entity usage.
- Manages the workflow of credit-related tasks & activities, queries and requests including working extensively in iCRD (JPM’s Credit Risk Exposure platform).
- Learns the key Credit Policies and develops strong technical knowledge of iCRD including participating in user testing of updates.
- Produces and monitors exception reports, adding commentary and resolving discrepancies.
- Compiles weekly & monthly MIS packs, analyses and presents data trends to group and senior management.
- Contributes towards team goals of meeting Key Performance Indicators.
- Participates in process improvement and other Organizational initiatives.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- High degree of numeracy and aptitude for analytical examination of problems; attention to detail being paramount.
- Technical ability, experience working with iCRD (or other Credit Systems), but also Excel, PowerPoint/PitchPro, Tableau or similar systems, and Ad-hoc Reporting Tools.
- Strong analytical skills, demonstrating ability to identify problems and propose solutions.
- Exhibit the initiative to raise issues to management and business partners when needed.
- Good interpersonal skills, interact professionally and confidently with deal team members within the Front Office and Credit Risk.
- Think strategically and tactically to help design process improvement ideas with the flexibility to adjust to new innovations, regulations, and priorities.
- Accuracy and attention to detail essential.
- Positive individual with good verbal, written and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment, remaining flexible and willing to accept new assignments and challenges in a rapidly changing environment whilst remaining control orientated.

- Interest/experience with Credit Risk and Policy.
