Join Global Cash Operations Business Enablement in a high-impact governance role that shapes how we manage risk, controls, and operational resiliency across multiple legal entities and geographies. As a Global Cash Operations Business Enablement Governance Associate within the Global Cash Operations Business Enablement team, you will help to build and run a scalable governance framework that proactively mitigates risk, strengthens control effectiveness, and elevates visibility of issues. You will have a global vantage point across BAU operations at scale—spanning people, locations, and functions—where governance directly improves control health and enhances resiliency.
You will orchestrate the weekly-to-global cadence that surfaces issues early, drive root-cause fixes, and keep leadership focused on the metrics that matter. In this role, you will help modernise the governance operating model through automation and use of data—leveraging Alteryx and Tableau and other tools to reduce manual work, improve data quality, and deepen insights—while partnering with Controls, Regulators, Audit, Compliance, Risk, TCOE, Legal, and Operations to deliver scalable oversight across outsourcing, access management, IAS charter rationalisation, and KRI/KPI reviews.
Job responsibilities
- Help lead the end-to-end governance rhythm for Payments Operations, including weekly, monthly, and global reviews with clear issue management, action tracking, and escalation pathways; synthesize complex inputs into concise, decision-ready narratives for Senior Management (per GCO governance model).
- Build deep knowledge of relevant systems, processes, and regulatory requirements to support operational objectives; partner with Payments leaders, Regulatory Operations, and Controls Managers, with second-level engagement across Technology, Risk, and Compliance.
- Own and facilitate Payments Ops governance meetings through rigorous data collation, critical analysis, and root-cause investigation; challenge constructively to drive corrective and preventative outcomes, supported by clear KRI/KPI reporting and trending.
- Design and automate reporting, controls monitoring, and data quality checks using Alteryx; create data visualizations and dashboards in Tableau to enhance transparency, reduce manual effort, and improve decision velocity.
- Complete proactive identification of control weaknesses and rationalization opportunities across processes; establish and track corrective action plans, communicate status and preventative changes, and validate effectiveness post-implementation.
- Help govern outsourced arrangements and vendor-related controls, ensuring performance, risk, and compliance are monitored and reported within the global framework (per GCO governance framework).
- Strengthen access management and information ownership controls across Cash Operations; verify entitlements are appropriate, timely, and compliant with policy.
- Support internal and external audits and regulatory engagements with complete, accurate evidence; coordinate with Controls, Regulator, Audit, Compliance, Risk, TCOE, Legal, and BAU operations to ensure consistent, scalable responses.
