Join our Wholesale Lending Services Middle Office (WLS MO) who is part of WLS and provides global end-to-end loan origination, servicing, restructuring, and trading support.
Services are tailored to the needs of the client and lines of business, ranging from bilateral to large, syndicated loan agreements.
Services provided include Loan Origination, Deal Closing and Funding, Documentation Review, Core Loan Servicing, Loan Closing and Trade Settlement.
As an Execution Coordinator within the EMEA WLS Originations team, you will be responsible for supporting Transaction Coordinators in managing complex syndicated and bilateral loans for the Commercial and Investment Bank and Trade Finance Lines of Business.
You will work closely with the origination businesses, ensuring that all necessary information is reviewed for operational feasibility and optimal execution and partner with various internal and external parties, including but not limited to, Deal Teams, Credit Risk, Legal, KYC, Loan and Agency Services, as well as Lenders.
We also interact with counterparts internationally on cross-border transactions, originating out of EMEA.
We operate in a control-focused environment ensuring that new loan agreements and amendments are viable from an operational standpoint and in line with JPM’s preferred language, recorded accurately, and any exceptions are managed accordingly.
- Job responsibilities
- Own and be responsible for Origination Pipeline system, ensuring real-time recording of transaction details through the origination lifecycle, excellent data quality for all datapoints and pipeline management.
- Extract critical deal information from credit agreements and record in the Firm’s systems of record.
- Liaise with Transaction Coordinator to ensure Borrower KYC completion ahead of signing/funding.
- Maintain accurate process and procedure documentation in a timely manner and be responsible for periodic review and upload of documents.
- Assign deals and queries from the group mailbox and resolve or redirect queries as needed.
- Partner across Operations and wider WLS departments globally to resolve problems, review alignment opportunities globally, and recommend enhancements to existing processes, as appropriate.
- Build and maintain relationships across WLS teams.
- Take the lead or, where needed, participate in projects and act as subject matter expert in working groups across the Firm to enhance process efficiency.
- Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in a loan operations / transaction management especially in the origination space, including knowledge of the loan product and syndicated loan business.
- A proven ability to review legal loan documentation (e. g., Credit Agreements) to identify critical operational, deal-related information.
- Strong Excel, Word and Power Point skills.
- A proven track record of leading initiatives, hitting milestones, and succeeding in a team environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate with team members and senior management across and within the lines of business.
