As a Business Analyst Vice President in the EMEA AML/KYC Policy Management team, you will take on the role of a Citizen Developer, defining and shaping the KYC citizen development toolkit and transitioning existing requirement and rule content into it. You'll work closely with technology partners and business stakeholders to ensure our KYC rules and requirements are accurate, usable, and compliant. This role offers you the opportunity to blend regulatory expertise with a data-driven, technology-forward approach — directly influencing how we manage anti-money laundering and know-your-customer processes at scale.
Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate, define, and continuously improve the KYC Citizen Development Toolkit in partnership with business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Create high-quality KYC requirement and rule content through the citizen developer toolkit for use in firm-wide KYC system applications.
- Own the quality of KYC rules and requirements authored by internal teams and external vendors.
- Test new requirement and rule configurations in pre-production environments prior to deployment.
- Respond to and assist operations teams with production queries related to requirements and rules.
- Collaborate across impacted stakeholders within an agreed governance framework to ensure content complies with policy and regulation.
- Ensure published requirements and rule content is operationally usable prior to deployment.
- Manage and balance business priorities with capacity to deliver content within agreed timeframes.
- Leverage AI-integrated tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Support process mapping and re-engineering initiatives to enhance KYC workflows.
- Contribute to the transition of existing KYC content into the citizen development toolkit.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Demonstrated data-driven, analytical mindset with the ability to challenge and understand data requirements in a compliance context.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Visio, or comparable process mapping tools.
- Experience in process mapping and process re-engineering.
- Exposure to and understanding of financial regulation and policy, especially in anti-money laundering and know-your-customer domains.
- Natural logic and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure and deploy data collection in high-volume operational settings.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within agreed timeframes.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Willingness to learn and master both industry-standard and in-house technologies.
