This division is responsible for building Chase UK, acquiring Nutmeg, and investing in C6. This role supports the Chase UK business, focusing on building a digital bank with seamless mobile banking experiences. As a Banking Operations Control Manager , you will lead and develop an enhanced control framework to support risk assessment, issue detection, escalation, root cause analysis, and remediation. Our Banking Operations Control Management team is central to delivering innovative solutions to our customers. Job Responsibilities Design and implement control frameworks ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies. Build relationships with stakeholders to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies. Support audit and testing activities, control reviews, and issue management. Conduct risk assessments for product development and changes. Monitor and improve the effectiveness of controls. Train staff on control processes and foster a risk-aware culture. Contribute to the CORE program focusing on control design, risk assessment, issue management, and reporting. Partner with control teams across functions to maintain strong relationships. Support operational risk practices, including reporting and risk indicators. Manage programme data and metrics to assess control environment health. Participate in cross-department initiatives like training and awareness programs. Minimum Qualifications 3+ years in Operational Risk Management within a financial institution, regulator, or consulting firm. Strong risk identification and control development skills. Excellent communication skills for influencing stakeholders. Experience managing operational risk issues and process mapping. Effective time management and attention to detail. Comfort with agile environments and teamwork. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Alteryx, or CORE. Knowledge of retail banking processes and regulations. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. About Us J.P.
