As an Agility Lead in Markets Technology, you will play a significant role as a champion for the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile practices within our teams. Leveraging your deep knowledge of product development methodologies and Agile principles, you will guide, mentor, and support teams to foster collaboration, innovation, and high performance. Your expertise will be instrumental in working on complex issues, exercising judgment, and making impactful decisions that influence our operational and business strategies. The Agile Lead will oversee the end-to-end delivery process across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with our vision for Corporate FX products. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in agile development, product management, and delivery, particularly in an agile environment. The successful candidate will manage software development processes for Sales, Research, and Data Technology platforms, with an emphasis of 70% on Product Delivery and 30% on Agile Leadership.
Job Responsibilities
- Be the subject matter expert on Agile Software Delivery, advising and coaching teams on Scrum and Scaled Agile frameworks.
- Promote continuous improvement by establishing data-driven metrics such as backlog readiness, definition of done, story points, velocity charts, and churn analysis.
- Manage projects against client commitments and deadlines, ensuring well-documented and ordered product backlogs while being mindful of costs vs benefits.
- Collaborate with Product Directors and stakeholders to understand strategic goals and develop a bold, achievable 0–18-month roadmap.
- Contribute to the product vision, define OKRs, and prioritize backlog items.
- Manage complex feature delivery and cross-team dependencies, including budget coordination during planning.
- Track value delivery from technology investments to ensure monetization of engineering efforts.
- Establish transparent project governance and reporting processes.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 7+ years of experience as a Senior Programme, Product, or Agile Lead.
- Solid background in FX or equivalent asset classes.
- Hands-on experience managing all stages of the delivery lifecycle in an agile environment.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and detail-oriented skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse audiences and developing effective relationships.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience in technology domains such as eCommerce, pricing, trading, settlement, payments, and CRM.
- Expertise in resolving conflicting priorities and navigating delivery teams.
- Extensive experience with agile frameworks in high-pressure, time-critical environments.
- Strong documentation and stakeholder presentation skills.
- Ability to extract and utilize data for continuous improvement.
- Self-motivated with the ability to own issues and achieve results independently.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence for project management.
