Responsibilities

  • Link technology sustainability to the broader firm-wide sustainability goals and opportunities
    • Identify and support Lines of Business functions in their opportunities to leverage technologies\’ sustainability in client-facing communications.
    • Identify further opportunities to leverage technology sustainability in support of the firm\’s broader sustainability initiatives: Operational Sustainability Council, Sustainable Solutions, Climate Advisory etc.
  • Embed technology sustainability into the fabric of JPMC technology
    • Ensure alignment and leverage of tech sustainability program to other related tech-wide initiatives.
    • Drive sustainability to be a Non Functional Requirement decision-making factor, with traceable and repeatable processes, across technology.
    • Develop program relationships with each tech organization to ensure engagement in the tech sustainability program.
  • Ensure effective execution of all processes for technology sustainability program
    • Oversee program management processes to track progress, issues, actions, controls etc.
    • Develop decision-making processes for the program to assess priority of proposed analysis or change programs – what streams have the best return on investment.
    • Ensure good and clear structure across the streams of work within the tech sustainability program.
    • Ensure the program has a clear \”shop front\” for the whole of JPMC employees to understand the initiatives.
    • Create and deliver comprehensive reports and insights for senior leadership, focusing on sustainability opportunities and strategic initiatives.
    • Oversee the case for technology\’s engagement in external sustainability initiatives.
    • Embed technology sustainability into the fabric of JPMC technology.
    • Setup and oversee a structure to ensure innovation is supported and knowledge shared across all tech centers.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Champion the adoption of agile methodologies and technical solutions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), sustainability, or technology program management, with a focus on technology sustainability.
  • Experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization.
  • Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Advanced experience in utilizing technical fluency, including knowledge of vendor products and managing vendor relations, to enable on-demand access to shared pools of applications and services.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities.
