Make a measurable impact on how Private Banking reports and explains its financial performance. In this role, you will help keep our financial results accurate, complete, and ready for senior management and regulators. You will join a high‑performing, multinational team with strong standards and a collaborative culture. As an Analyst Controller in Private Banking Finance, you will help ensure the integrity and timely reporting of Private Banking financials, while contributing to ongoing improvements and change initiatives. You will support month‑end close, regulatory reporting, and statutory accounts, partnering with stakeholders across the business and control functions. You will help explain results through thoughtful analysis and clear commentary, in a fast‑paced and evolving environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain the accuracy and completeness of Private Banking financials for the Luxembourg Branch, in line with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and local accounting requirements (for example, International Financial Reporting Standards).
  • Analyze monthly profit and loss and balance sheet results, and prepare clear variance commentary for senior management reporting.
  • Coordinate the monthly consolidated reporting pack and support timely month‑end close activities.
  • Provide business information for regulatory reporting in the United States and in local European and United Kingdom jurisdictions.
  • Support change initiatives and project work, including process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Partner with internal and external auditors to support reviews and requests.
  • Evaluate control effectiveness and suggest practical improvements to strengthen the control environment.
  • Keep process documentation current, accurate, and audit‑ready.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from stakeholders with clear, well‑supported analysis.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Previous professional experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Strong understanding of how the balance sheet and income statement work and link together.
  • Proven analytical approach and comfort working with large datasets.
  • Strong attention to detail with a control‑focused mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
  • Ability to solve problems independently and communicate progress clearly.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience using automation and data tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Databricks, or Avante to improve processes.
  • Experience implementing process automation from idea through delivery and adoption.
  • Working towards or completion of a professional accounting qualification.
