Agency Securities Finance is a global trading desk within Securities Services that lends equity and fixed income securities on behalf of asset owners to broker-dealers, supporting their proprietary and client trading strategies.
When securities need to be borrowed, the Financing Desk negotiates the loan fee based on supply and demand dynamics and the underlying trade rationale.
The group’s objective is to generate incremental income for participating clients while also producing fee income for the firm.
With five trading desks globally, JPMorgan Chase provides near-24-hour coverage across 38 markets.

Strong communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and
Skills: Strong interest in equity and fixed income markets; securities Finance experience is a plus.
Knowledge of bank regulatory capital frameworks (Basel III / Basel IV) is a plus.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills; quantitative/modeling background preferred.
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity.
