We are seeking a product designer with a deep understanding of experience design for digital products, particularly B2B, and a balanced grasp of strategy, user research, and visual design. Be part of our multi-disciplinary team and contribute to enhancing customer engagement and satisfaction. As a Product Designer - Senior Associate within our business accelerator team, you will be at the heart of new product development, designing, building, and managing new consumer and business-facing products and solutions. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team of designers, user researchers, product and engineers to create products and services that put the customer at the centre.
Job responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, thoughtful customer-focused design solutions to complex problems and shaping the next generation B2B customer-focused products and services.
- Collaborate with design team members and other stakeholders to identify new opportunities and design that creates value for our customers.
- Use customer insights and data to inform and iterate design solutions.
- Have a clear understanding of the business drivers behind product goals.
- Deliver appropriate design artifacts spanning across all project phases, from concept development and design to production and documentation in a timely manner and efficient execution (e.g. user journeys, sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes, user research, usability testing, specs and guidelines).
- Proactively contribute to design systems and other design toolkits, and work closely with leads to ensure deliverables are consistent with the design system.
- Manage the handover and support of your designs to engineering and product development teams and provide accurate estimation of tasks and help with prioritisation.
- Participate in user research and usability studies on your work, creating interactive prototypes to iterate and refine your designs.
- Present design and communicate work to team members and stakeholders.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Solid hands-on experience as Senior Product/UX designer.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UX processes, such as process flows, sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes, user research, usability testing, and other deliverables.
- Ability to synthesise complex, interdependent, and sometimes competing needs and data.
- Effective communication of design solutions across roles & levels.
- Awareness and practical understanding of current technologies and their application and relevance to digital experiences.
- Ability to develop and sustain effective and cooperative working relationships with peers, managers and other internal or external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with modern design systems, prototyping software and design tools (we use Figma) and comfortable prototyping and designing at different levels of fidelity.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, cross-functional environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Experience in the Atlassian suite of software (Jira & Confluence) is desirable.
- Experience with B2B applications preferred.
