As an Analyst in our Real Estate Finance team, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of property classes and clients, supporting secured lending, syndication, and securitisation solutions. As an Analyst in Real Estate Finance within the Securitised Products Group, you will:
- Screen and research real estate loan opportunities across EMEA to assess viability.
- Support the structuring and execution of loan proposals.
- Provide and analyse market research to support recommendations.
- Prepare deal proposals for internal committees.
- Conduct financial modelling to support deal analysis.
- Assist with real estate underwriting of transactions.
- Coordinate interaction with internal teams, including credit, valuation, and middle office.
- Ensure flawless data handling and maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Apply strong analytical skills to assess risk and support decision-making.
- Draft clear and concise reports to communicate findings and recommendations.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience working with a variety of property classes, including office, retail, logistics, and multi-family residential.
- Familiarity with lending against operating businesses where real estate is a key factor.
- Excellent data handling skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
- Advanced modelling skills and strong report writing capabilities.
- Sound judgement and experience in risk analysis.
- Robust questioning and negotiating skills.
- Interest in real estate.
- Experience in structured finance.
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
