Project Manager - Global Equities Operations Transformation

As a Project Manager within Global Equities Operations Transformation, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing strategic programs and initiatives from conception to execution. Your work will have a significant impact on various departments, ensuring alignment of operations with our business strategy and vision. You will apply your broad knowledge of project management principles and practices, leveraging your skills in data analytics, digital proficiency, and cross-functional collaboration to drive success.

1. Lead the planning and execution of complex, cross-functional projects, utilizing your skills in data analytics and digital proficiency to deliver results aligned with business strategy.
2. Develop and manage integrated project plans, ensuring appropriate resources are assigned and milestones are met, while regularly communicating progress to stakeholders.
3. Utilize your skills in conflict management and team building to foster a collaborative environment, resolving issues and risks that may arise during project execution.
4. Apply your strategic thinking skills to identify potential scenarios, evaluate their impact and risk, and make informed decisions that directly affect departmental outcomes.
5. Ensure all projects are completed in accordance with all Risk, Control, and other relevant firm-wide guidelines, maintaining our control environment.
6. Drive initiatives forward, providing leadership, direction, and focus for business functions and project resources.
7. Deliver executive updates and summaries.
8. Manage issues effectively and escalate when necessary.

Requirements include:

• Project Management and Program Management experience required.
• Strong people skills, with the ability to build relationships with all types of stakeholders at all levels across all business areas.
• Self-starter, proactive, organized, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently.
• Proven success in delivering initiatives on time through strong planning, processing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Confident and assertive, with the ability to push back when necessary.
• Initiative-taking in unstructured situations, including seizing new opportunities.
• Flexible attitude in dealing with multiple tasks with tight time frames and limited supervision.
• Accountability and responsibility for actions.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, JIRA.

Preferred qualifications include previous experience in delivering projects within the financial sector, knowledge of future and derivatives clearing, and willingness to work weekends on implementations or migrations (flexible working arrangements can be discussed).
