Our Product Analyst manages cross-functional initiatives that are of strategic or regulatory importance. We take on the responsibility of coordinating and ensuring that things get done. Whether it is coordination with teams within ICB, or other lines of business, getting a decision from a stakeholder or ensuring the team remains focused on the target completion date. Our projects are diverse, can appear without advance warning with tight deadlines and can be Agile, Waterfall or a hybrid of both.
SUMMARY OF ROLE/JOB DESCRIPTION – Our Product Office is made up of Product and Technical Programme managers who want to be a part of building something new from the ground up within a diverse and inclusive team. We are looking for a Product Analyst initially with a view to expanding the remit once comfortable. Culture is important to us and we are looking for an intellectually curious, self-motivated, enthusiastic, tenacious/self-starter team member who would like to expand their skills whilst working on an exciting new venture for the firm. Your work will have a massive impact, both on us as a company, as well as our clients and our business partners around the world.
Responsibilities:
- Produce high quality presentations in PowerPoint, compiling inputs from stakeholders, reviewing, understanding and challenging the content as required.
- Develop metrics and filters in Jira/Confluence to provide meaningful tracking, analysis and reporting.
- Manage, track, and escalate risks and issues to the plan.
- Ensure that the program governance and best practices are followed in line with the business standards and procedures.
- Proactively identify, define, and enhance processes and procedures.
- Demonstrate the use of AI to streamline and optimize ways of working.
- Support and manage the coordination and management of initiatives as required.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS SHOULD INCLUDE:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft suite of applications especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent organisation skills with an ability to prioritise and multi-task within tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with experience in managing senior stakeholders while dealing with urgent/changing priorities.
- Strong analytics skills having the ability to synthesise information, mentally link interdependent topics and present succinctly.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; confident presenting to senior audiences and simplifying complex topics.
- Effective partnership with Risk, Legal, InfoSec, and Controls.
- Detail-oriented and organised, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Awareness of Lean/Agile/Waterfall practices and understand when to use them pragmatically.
- Previous experience in project or product management and using the Atlassian suite of applications – Jira and Confluence, would be a plus.
- Previous experience of cloud technologies, digital banking products would be advantageous.
