As a Fund Administration Product Manager within our specialized team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our product portfolio. Your responsibilities will include developing innovative products, collaborating with Operations, Product Development, Client Service, and other partners to provide a top-tier client experience. Additionally, you will work closely with our Sales partners to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
Job responsibilities:
- Act as a Fund Administration Tax subject matter expert supporting Senior Management, Operations, Sales, Client Services and Clients / Prospects.
- Provide management and guidance on client, industry and internal change programmes, with focus on maintaining efficiency and standardisation across the operating model.
- Work closely with business partners on client satisfaction initiatives and sales opportunities including operating model development, legal agreements and fee models.
- Keep abreast of regulatory change and how this could impact the business.
- Identify areas of opportunity to develop and improve the service offering.
- Participate in Industry events to stay informed of market, client and competitor activity.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- In-depth technical and practical understanding of Fund Administration Tax core processes/concepts that cover various European Tax regimes including: Investor-based tax reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions, including Belgium, Germany, Italy and France.
- Expertise in fund-level tax matters, including VAT services in the UK, Luxembourg, and Ireland, proficiency in UK tax computations and submissions, such as corporation tax provisioning and the completion and online filing of CT600 returns.
- Experience with Luxembourg Tax d’Abonnement calculation and reporting.
- Ability to devise creative solutions in response to client requests and strategic product goals.
- Good understanding of Fund Accounting fund expenses, P&L computations and balance sheet and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex issues and diverse inputs into actionable solutions.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities, adept at multitasking in a structured and efficient manner.
- Strategic mindset—this role demands innovative thinking to design and define platforms and solutions, paired with accountability and disciplined execution to drive development.
- Collaborative team player, skilled at bringing together multiple partners to achieve productive outcomes in a virtual team environment.
- Self-motivated contributor, comfortable working independently and managing multiple assignments with minimal supervision.
- Outstanding written and presentation capabilities, able to prepare high-quality materials and present confidently across various settings.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Advanced cross-functional and business collaboration abilities, essential for working across internal teams, external partners, and clients.
- Knowledge of EMEA regulatory reporting (such as PRIIPS or equivalent, Solvency, AIFMD) is highly advantageous.
- Proficient at synthesizing large volumes of information into clear, actionable recommendations; able to present and defend these recommendations to diverse audiences.
- Ability to comprehend and navigate complex technology and operations infrastructures, ideally with experience using the FIS InvestOne platform.
