In this dynamic role, you’ll be at the forefront of EMEA strategy—translating market intelligence and trends into integrated campaigns that elevate J.P. Morgan’s brand and drive business growth across the region. Join us to turn insights into impact and partner with top talent across the business and global marketing teams. This role will work closely with the corporate banking teams in EMEA to develop and execute strategic marketing plans and integrated campaigns. The candidate will be responsible for understanding and reporting on the banking landscape inclusive of competitor activity, J.P. Morgan’s practices and industry trends. Based on these insights, the candidate will recommend engaging content and innovative programs to support J.P. Morgan’s corporate banking business. This hire will implement internal and external campaigns, working closely with the business, cross-line of business partners, and the CIB Global Marketing team.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with banking teams to develop strategic, innovative marketing plans and innovative programs that align with business priorities.
- Assess competitor and industry developments to inform marketing strategies that support the J.P. Morgan brand.
- Create content in partnership with the business to support the needs of the investment banking product and industry teams – videos, podcasts, articles, etc.
- Design and implement internal and external campaigns that creatively leverage all distribution channels (client newsletters, web, social, etc.) to increase reach of content developed by business and marketing centres of excellence.
- Partner with agencies, vendors and internal partners globally to build out campaign materials – on time and on budget.
- Work with Legal and Compliance teams globally to ensure approvals are in place for all activity before campaign and/or development work begins and for sign-off upon completion.
- Collaborate with extended global team of marketing colleagues across the firm to ensure effective coordination of sector, local, regional, and global activity with consistent messaging.
- Produce campaign recaps and quarterly reports showcasing marketing initiatives from across CIB Marketing globally and locally, pulling in data & analytics, digital assets, etc. to help tell our story and highlight wins.
- Handle logistics tied to asset creation from project submissions in WorkFront to scheduling podcast/video recordings with internal/external stakeholders, coordinating with Production team/vendors through to execution.
- Review program results with Data & Analytics team in real-time to optimize campaigns as needed and apply learnings to future campaigns focused on building best practices.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Extensive years of work experience; Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of banking products, client segments and overall industry landscape.
- Strong interest in digital and content marketing; deep analytical skill set; able to synthesise information quickly and spot trends and opportunities.
- Experience developing and managing projects and processes (including budgets – from planning to invoicing and tracking).
- Superb written and oral communication skills; must be able to efficiently and effectively develop decks (Microsoft PPT) for senior management.
- Proficient Deck logistics to support internal/external stakeholder needs.
- Strong track record partnering with senior leaders and the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Proven project and time-management skills, able to manage multiple and varied projects concurrently, and end-to-end.
- Attention to detail and ability to connect the dots on programs within the Commercial & Investment Bank and across lines of business is critical.
- Detail-oriented self-starter with data-driven approach.
