As a Wholesale Lending Services Credit Agreement Agency Trading Senior Associate within the EMEA Wholesale Lending Services Credit Agreement Agency Trading team, you will serve as a subject matter expert.
Your primary responsibilities include reviewing, interpreting, and negotiating transferability provisions in Credit Agreements to ensure new and amended loan agreements are operationally viable and aligned with JPMorgan’s preferred language.
You will execute both Primary and Secondary Syndicated Loan Market transfer requests as Facility Agent, working closely with internal teams (Transaction Coordination, Deal Closing, Legal, KYC, Loan Trading, Agency) and external clients.
You will also collaborate with international counterparts on new credit agreement reviews and represent JPMorgan in external industry and service provider forums.

- Review and interpret loan credit agreements and related documentation for operational feasibility and optimal execution of lender transfers, providing consultative feedback to business and legal teams.
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of lender transfer documentation as Facility Agent.
- Lead or participate in technology enhancement projects as a subject matter expert.
- Collaborate across Wholesale Lending Services Operations and with related teams to resolve issues and enhance process efficiency.
- Identify and promptly elevate problems as needed.
- Provide training and support for junior colleagues, and contribute to team objectives and control initiatives.
- Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, persuade, and collaborate with stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of syndicated loan products and documentation, including Change to Lender provisions, loan funding mechanics, and complex deal structures.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, quickly learn new concepts and systems, and adapt to new assignments.
- Skilled in developing presentations and project updates for stakeholders and business partners.
- Confident, proactive, and detail-oriented strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and motivation to deliver excellence.
- Experience in loan operations, with a working knowledge of syndicated loan trading and the Loan Agency role.
- Proficiency in loan transfer documentation, agency functions, and loan settlements.
- Ability to review legal loan documentation and identify critical transferability information.
- Strong skills in Excel, Word, and Power Point.
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines in a team environment.
- Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with Clearpar, Loan IQ, and data rooms (e. g., Syndtrak, Intralinks)
