As a Product Manager, in the Merchant Services team, you will support the development, delivery and management of our Global performance and authentication solutions. You will play an important role in defining the customer journey and experience, roadmap planning and crossâfunctional project execution. You will be an energetic selfâstarter, curious and driven to learn, who thrives in a fastâpaced environment and is eager to build a career in product management within one of the most exciting areas of JPMorgan Payments.
Job responsibilities
- Lead the product delivery for 3DS, exemption manager and other payment authentication technologies.
- Work closely with engineering to drive the development and scaling of new features and products.
- Ensure products meet market needs, regulatory requirements, and payment network specifications, adapting to global and local needs.
- Drive the implementation and oversee the endâtoâend lifecycle of our authentication solutions to enhance security while providing a smooth and seamless customer experience.
- Understand the technical requirements of 3DS and have experience of largeâscale client integrations.
- Conduct research and analyze industry trends to evaluate the competitive landscape and identify best practices.
- Monitor product performance through reports, dashboards, and periodic stakeholder reviews.
- Collaborate with internal partners to maintain a leadership position for JPMorgan payment services in merchant processing funding.
- Manage the product roadmap, balancing stakeholder inputs and thinâsliced release outputs.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Significant experience or equivalent expertise in the card payment risk and authentication space, with a specific focus on EMV 3DS and exemption scenarios.
- Strong knowledge and experience working with European SCA regulation, ideally in a product management or a relevant domain area.
- Proven ability to conceptualize and deliver endâtoâend payment authentication experiences, including launch, and iteration.
- Familiarity with EMV 3DS specifications and other emerging authentication technologies.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization including an appreciation for working with global teams and navigating crossâcultural or crossâfunctional collaboration.
- Proven track record of managing new product launches or transformations of missionâcritical payment platforms.
- Familiarity with digital payments, merchant acquiring, B2B commerce, or financial technology.
- Experience of the European payments market (APAC experience is a plus) Financial services, fintech, or payments experience.
- Proven track record of managing the endâtoâend product development lifecycle (PDLC) for complex, largeâscale initiatives.
- Strong ability to analyze opportunities and problems, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively and confidently (both verbal and written).
- Strong influencing and partnership skills to drive crossâfunctional teams.
