Join J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s events team in London as an Event Planner, working alongside experienced professionals to deliver outstanding client experiences across the EMEA region. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented events professional to join our Europe Asset Management Events Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least three years’ relevant experience to play a key role in planning and delivering high-profile client events—both in-person and virtual—throughout EMEA.
Job responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end delivery of a range of client events, including conferences, roundtables, webinars, and hospitality programmes.
- Manage and execute virtual events, ensuring a seamless experience for participants.
- Build and manage delegate management using the event management tool, Stova.
- Source and secure suitable venues for events.
- Build event presentations and provide support to the Head of the Events Team.
- Coordinate logistics such as supplier management, delegate registration, travel arrangements, and on-site support.
- Manage event budgets, track expenditure, and process invoices.
- Maintain and manage the events calendar to ensure effective planning and scheduling.
- Source and organise supplies and event materials.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting for all events.
- Support the team with research, benchmarking, and post-event analysis to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure all events adhere to J.P. Morgan’s compliance and risk management standards.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience in event management, ideally within financial services or a corporate environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Degree educated.
- Technologically adept, with experience using event management platforms - experience with Stova is an advantage.
- Experience of delivering virtual events and using PGI platform.
- Experience managing complex and large event registration data and understanding databases.
