- Job responsibilities
- Prepare daily profit and loss reporting and related control checks.
- Support month-end close activities to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Analyze profit and loss and balance sheet movements and explain key drivers to stakeholders.
- Deliver clear reporting and insights to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management.
- Partner with the business to implement robust controls and support new business initiatives.
- Coordinate with front- and back-office teams to resolve control, valuation, and reporting issues.
- Investigate breaks and variances and document root causes and remediation actions.
- Maintain strong process discipline and ensure adherence to control standards and procedures.
- Provide analytical and project support to improve reporting quality and operating efficiency.
- Respond to ad hoc requests with accurate analysis and concise communication.
- Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Relevant experience in Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or a closely related area
- Demonstrated experience performing daily profit and loss reporting and month-end close processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and a demonstrated control mindset
- Ability to communicate complex financial topics clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships across functions and seniority levels
