As an Applications Support team member in the Equities Prime Financial Services Production Management team, you will maintain the stability and availability of key applications that support the firm’s daily operations. You will work collaboratively to address issues, support business and technology stakeholders, and drive improvements across the production environment. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and processes, and your proactive approach will help ensure operational excellence. You’ll be part of a team that values communication, innovation, and continuous learning.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide end‑to‑end application or infrastructure service delivery to enable successful business operations.
  • Support the day‑to‑day maintenance of systems to ensure operational stability and availability.
  • Assist in monitoring production environments for anomalies using standard observability tools.
  • Identify issues for escalation and communicate solutions to business and technology stakeholders.
  • Analyze complex situations and trends to anticipate and solve incident, problem, and change management for full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
  • Basic knowledge of application development.
  • Experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services.
  • Knowledge of front office trading applications and EMEA Equities markets.
  • Experience in incident and problem management.
  • Strong communication skills to translate technical language into meaningful business impact statements.
  • Working knowledge in one or more general purpose programming languages such as Unix Shell or Python, with an interest in learning additional coding languages and skills.
  • Working knowledge of development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
  • Understanding of Agile methodology.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals.
  • Knowledge of applications or infrastructure in large-scale technology environments, both on premises and public cloud.
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools and techniques.
  • Exposure to processes within the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages or automation scripting.
  • Understanding of financial markets and trading systems.
