Our Team

Investment management products and services are a core offering within Morgan Private Banking. We offer the full spectrum of investment strategies - from equity, cash management, fixed income, currency and asset allocation to alternative asset classes such as private equity, real estate and hedge funds. These strategies are delivered to clients in a variety of structures, including discretionary and advisory portfolios and regulated fund wrappers.

The Discretionary and Advisory Product Development team is focused on delivering high impact, discretionary and advisory solutions for the International Private Bank (IPB) business (covering EMEA, Latin America and Asia). The IPB discretionary and advisory product offering consists of over $100 billion in assets under management, with future growth anticipated.

An exciting opportunity has arisen as part of the IPB Discretionary and Advisory Product Development team for an Analyst to drive the product development and management activities of the team. The role will be based in London.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support new investment product development and the build out of new investment capabilities for the IPB discretionary and advisory offering, with a focus on both public and private markets.
  • Define, document and track initiative timelines and progress including organising meetings, reporting on key highlights, decisions, next steps and issues.
  • Coordinate across multi-jurisdictional Legal, Risk, Compliance, Digital, Technology, Operations, and Investment teams ensuring initiatives are delivered successfully and on schedule.
  • Actively support ongoing enhancements to the client and advisor experience of the IPB discretionary and advisory offering with a focus on building a differentiated and scalable business.
  • Assist with delivery of strategic business and regulatory initiatives.
  • Make recommendations to improve and re-engineer existing product practices and processes.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring our investment offerings remain at the forefront of the market.

This position is based in London, is open-ended and offers excellent future mobility opportunities into other areas of our business.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Proactive, highly motivated team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and drives results.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a client-focus that is able to think critically and achieve optimal outcomes across a variety of situations.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and planning skills and with ability to lead multiple initiatives at once.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with proven ability to engage, build consensus, and foster lasting relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly competent with core MS Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Experience in financial services would be beneficial, preferably in wealth management, asset management or consulting.
  • Experience in designing and developing digitally enabled investment solutions.
  • CFA qualified / candidate preferred.
  • Knowledge of programming language tools (e.g., Python) an advantage.
