Join our European Emerging Markets and Asia Pacific (EMAP) Equity Research team as a Research Associate, focusing on financial services companies. At Morgan Asset Management, we offer equity solutions to global pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, and central banks. As a Research Analyst in our EMAP Equity Research team, you will be working closely with the senior analyst to build models, generate forecasts, and build presentations for portfolio managers. You will have the opportunity to grow significantly in your role, with increasing responsibilities as you become proficient as an investor. We value candidates with prior experience covering the financial sector, ideally on the buy side, and a willingness to become an expert in Emerging Markets. Job Responsibilities:- Prepare models, reports and presentations on financial services stocks, leveraging all the latest AI tools at JP Morgan’s disposal.
- Assist in analysing companies, forming investment insights, and managing an analyst’s portfolio of covered stocks.
- Communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, especially portfolio managers.
- Collaborate and communicate with a global network of JPMAM analysts.
- Intellectually curious and driven by a desire to build insight into a business.
- Prior experience analysing and covering financial services companies, ideally on the buy side.
- A strong interest in emerging markets and a willingness to specialise in this area.
- Strong ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines accurately and to a high standard.
